Nobody else can see the pictures
That's on purpose: both arrive in a reply only you can see. Press Send this one under the one you like and it posts in the channel; the other is deleted.
Nothing happens in a private channel
It isn't in that channel yet, which is usual for private ones. Type /invite @hologram in the channel, then send your line again.
It won't take more than one person
Free makes pictures of 1 person at a time; Pro takes up to 10. Mention more on Free and hologram replies privately with a Go Pro button.
Make a GIF says it's Pro
GIFs are a Pro feature. On Free the button is there, and pressing it explains Pro in a reply only you see. Type /hologram plan to upgrade.
Remix with me says our workspace doesn't have hologram
Remix uses the presser's own workspace and pictures, so that workspace needs hologram too. The reply has an Add to Slack link; installing from it gives that workspace 50 pictures, and yours the same once they're using hologram.
A style or team photo says it's Pro
On Free, animated, comic, yearbook and every occasion are included; the other styles, team photos, Studio versions, a custom bot name and avatar, and weekly posts are Pro. Asking for one on Free replies privately and charges nothing.
How many free pictures do we get?
A new workspace starts with 50 and gets 12 more each month. Unused ones roll over, up to 50. Type /hologram plan to see what's left.
A weekly post didn't appear
Scheduled posts pause when the workspace runs out of pictures or is no longer on Pro, and hologram leaves a note in the channel. /hologram schedules lists this channel's; /hologram unschedule and its number removes one.
I shared a picture outside Slack and want it private again
Press Make it private in the private message that gave you the link. The link stops working straight away.
It says the workspace is out of pictures
Type /hologram plan. Only you see the reply; its link opens the plan page, where you can go Pro, add a top-up, or turn on auto-refill so a top-up is bought whenever the pictures run out. Free also adds 12 pictures each month, up to 50.
Only one picture appeared, or none
One of the image models failed. A picture that fails is refunded to the workspace automatically. You can still send the one that worked, or press Try again for a fresh pair (that uses credits again).
The person doesn't look like them
If someone has no profile photo in Slack, hologram uses their name only. Ask them to add a clear photo of their face to their Slack profile.
We want to remove it
A workspace admin can remove it like any other app, from the workspace's app settings in Slack (Manage apps, then hologram, then Remove). It stops working at once and its Slack token is deleted.
Delete our data, or a picture of me
Write to hello@sendhologram.com. We delete a workspace's data within 30 days, and a picture of you as soon as we can find it; a link or screenshot helps. The privacy page lists what we keep.

More questions
Why two pictures?
Every line is painted by two different image models at once, so you get two takes and send the better one. It usually takes 10 to 20 seconds.
What exactly does a picture cost?
One picture is one credit, so a line uses 2. On Pro, a picture of more than 4 people uses 1 more credit for each extra person. Try again uses 2 more, a GIF 8, a Studio version 3. A picture that fails is refunded.
Can it make GIFs?
On Pro. Press Make a GIF under a picture in your private reply and about a minute later you get a 6-second GIF, privately, with Send this GIF.
What's the line under our pictures?
On Free, pictures have a small “sendhologram.com” watermark and a “Made with hologram · Add to Slack” line under them in the channel. Pro drops both, except in Slack Connect channels shared with another company.
What's Remix with me?
A button under every posted picture. Whoever presses it gets a private preview of the same scene with themselves in it, paid from their own workspace's pictures.
I don't want to be in pictures.
Type /hologram optout. Nobody else can put you in a picture after that, and team photos and weekly posts leave you out, in your workspace and any other with hologram. /hologram optin undoes it. To have a picture that was already made removed, write to hello@sendhologram.com.
Can I invite another workspace?
Type /hologram invite for your link. When a new workspace installs from it, it gets 50 pictures that never expire, plus 2 more tries of each Pro feature. Your workspace gets the same once 2 of their people have sent 3 pictures between them (up to 10 workspaces a month).
What are occasions and styles?
Make birthday, farewell, welcome, shipped, holiday the first word after the names to set the scene: /hologram @cleo birthday. Add style: and a name for a look: animated, comic, yearbook are free; renaissance, album, anime, clay, bricks, noir, watercolor are Pro.
What else does Pro do?
Team photos (/hologram team as …, up to 10 people from the channel), Studio versions, your own bot name and avatar, and weekly scheduled posts.
Can a picture go outside Slack?
Only if you choose. After you send one, a private message offers Share outside Slack, which makes a public link. Make it private turns it off.
Is the plan per person?
Per workspace. Everyone shares the workspace's pictures, whoever installed it.
Do top-ups expire?
No. Monthly pictures roll over up to your plan's cap (50 on Free, 500 on Pro); a top-up adds 100 pictures that stay until they're used. Auto-refill on the plan page buys one whenever you run out.
